Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Planisware Developer with a strong technical background and experience in project portfolio management (PPM) tools. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in configuring, customizing, and developing within the Planisware environment, along with a solid understanding of PPM principles and lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Configure and customize Planisware modules to meet business requirements.
- Develop scripts, workflows, and data models within Planisware.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain and optimize system performance, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Integrate Planisware with other enterprise systems using APIs or data exchange patterns.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Planisware‑related issues.
- Document configurations, processes, and best practices.
- 3+ years of experience as a technical developer using Planisware.
- 3+ years of experience working with Planisware or similar PPM tools (e.g., Planview).
- Strong understanding of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) principles and lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Planisware configuration, scripting, and data modeling.
- Experience with SQL, JavaScript, or other relevant technologies is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience integrating Planisware with other enterprise systems using APIs or ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project environments.
- Ability to work independently and in cross‑functional teams.
Job Title: Planisware Developer
Location: 1601 Harbor Bay Pkwy, Alameda, California
Work Arrangement: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
Employment Type: Contract

What is Planisware? Planisware is a specialized portfolio and project management (PPM) software widely used in industries like life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and engineering. It helps organizations manage complex projects, resources, and budgets at an enterprise level.
Assignment length: 1 year. Ideal start date: early next year (Q1 2026). Work model: hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Standard hours: 8 AM – 5 PM (40 h/week). No travel required.
Top priorities for the first 90 days: learn the business and current Planisware system quickly, understand existing configurations and customizations, and begin hands‑on configuration and development work without long ramp‑up time.
