Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) and Texas Workforce Solutions Vocational Rehabilitation program (TWS-VRS) collaborate to offer various services that support eligible individuals with disabilities in preparing for, obtaining, maintaining, or advancing in employment.

Services provided include:

• Vocational counseling and guidance.
• Referrals for hearing, visual, and other examinations.
• Assistance with medical appointments and treatments.
• Rehabilitation devices, such as hearing aids, wheelchairs, artificial limbs, and braces.
• Therapies addressing disabilities, including occupational, speech therapy, and applied behavioral analysis.
• Physical restoration services.
• Medical, psychological, and vocational assessments.
• Support for college education or trade certification.
• On-the-job training and workplace expectations training.
• Vocational adjustment training.
• Rehabilitation teaching services for learning Braille, orientation and mobility, and home and health management skills for the visually impaired.

Job Matching & Placement Services include:

• Transportation assistance, such as travel vouchers and vehicle modifications.
• Follow-up and supported employment services to help maintain employment.
• Referrals to programs like Business Enterprises of Texas, Criss Cole Rehabilitation Center, and other agencies.
