Job Snapshot.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or higher in accounting, business, finance, or related field preferred
• At least two years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, accounting, or a closely related financial processing role.
• Experience using spreadsheets and maintaining accurate financial documentation.
• Ability to reconcile amounts, communicate with vendors, and meet processing deadlines
• Experience in public-sector or New Mexico school district accounting and purchasing workflows.
• Experience with Tyler School ERP Pro or comparable enterprise financial software.

• Knowledge of accounts payable cycles, three-way matching, reconciliations, invoice controls, and record retention.
• Ability to distinguish procurement authorization from AP processing and expedite purchasing exceptions.
• Attention to detail, customer service, financial confidentiality, organization, and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work cooperatively with procurement, finance, and school-based staff.

Twelve months (234 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the District Non-Exempt Salary Schedule.

The work calendar is subject to change based on any Board approved revisions that may or may not be Permanent.

Ability to comply with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 and, upon an offer of employment, complete an Employee's Statement of Health and submit to a functional capacity evaluation at the District's expense to determine ability to perform job-related functions and fitness for duty.
