Job Snapshot: To teach by implementing a flexible program and creating an environment favorable to learning and personal growth by:

• encouraging students to develop skills, attitudes, and the knowledge needed to obtain a good foundation for continuous growth and development;
• providing students with experiences which integrate the effective, cognitive, and psychomotor dimensions of learning;
• establishing effective rapport with students and their parents; and
• assisting students in developing positive feelings toward themselves and others.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Current New Mexico Educator’s License

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:

• Ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, students, and parents
• Ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements

Salary: Nine months (185 days) per contract year and appropriate placement on the District Certified Teacher Salary Schedule.
