* - Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) - Are you a skilled and compassionate nurse looking to make an impact in a vibrant clinical setting? - As a Travel RN specializing in Labor and Delivery, you will:
- Exhibit strong independence while demonstrating awareness of all relevant situation aspects.
- Provide both routine and complex care, ensuring optimal outcomes for your patients.
- Masterfully manage contingencies of clinical nursing with confidence.
- Utilize your leadership skills to assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to care providers.
- Your core responsibilities include:
- Meeting OneCHRISTUS
Competencies:
Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Delivering exceptional nursing care through the complete nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Addressing the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families at your level of practice.
- Administering medications and treatments via appropriate protocols; monitoring side effects and effectiveness.
- Documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided meticulously.
- Assessing learning needs and delivering education to patients and their families.

- ** Education/
Skills:
** - Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- *
* Experience:
** - Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred.
- ** Licenses, Registrations, or
Certifications:
** - Current BLS certification (AHA only).
- Current NRP certification.
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only).
- Certification from one of the following: AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM).
- Current STABLE certification required from one of the following courses:
Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor.
- RN License in the state of NM or compact.
- ** Position Requirements:** - Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Be precepted by a designated trained staff member; complete initial onboarding requirements and competency validation.
- Fulfill all annual competency verification requirements.

Experience:
** - Perinatal RN Residency or recent practice in a Perinatal Setting preferred.
