Precast Plant Laborer​/Forklift Operator

Four Corners Pre-Cast (FCPC), a premier NPCA-certified manufacturer of concrete solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Laborer to join our plant team. This role is essential for maintaining the flow, quality, and efficiency of our precast production process, requiring both manual labor skills and certified equipment operation.

The Laborer will be responsible for providing critical support across all phases of precast concrete production, including:

Precast Production Support:

• Formwork: Accurately building, setting up, bracing, and stripping forms used to hold wet concrete in preparation for the pour.
• Reinforcement: Safely carrying, cutting, and securely tying rebar or wire mesh for reinforcing concrete structures (slabs, footings, walls).
• Concrete Handling: Assisting with mixing concrete (on smaller batches) or ensuring all raw materials are organized and ready for concrete trucks and pumps.
• Directing the Pour: Safely and effectively guiding the chute, hose, or pump to place wet concrete into the forms.
• Finishing: Using hand floats to begin smoothing the concrete surface after the initial set.
• Forklift Operation: Operating a forklift to safely move, load, and unload heavy materials (pallets, equipment, supplies) across the job site and storage yard.
• Transport: Safely and efficiently transporting heavy items over uneven or outdoor terrain.
• Manual Assistance: Assisting with general manual labor tasks when not operating the forklift, including heavy lifting (e.g., bags of cement, form materials), stacking, and organizing.

• Proven ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently (certification is highly preferred).
• Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and kneeling for long periods.
• Willingness and ability to work effectively in all outdoor weather conditions common to the Four Corners region.
• Commitment to strictly following all safety protocols for both equipment operation and general field labor.
