Licensure Details: Thank you for your interest in serving as a Volunteer Coach in the Alamogordo Public Schools. Volunteering is a rewarding experience for everyone involved. Becoming a Volunteer Coach has a positive effect on our community and allows you to make a difference in someone’s life.

• NMPED requires a separate background check paid for by the applicant through Idento

• After registering, the fingerprints can be submitted at Print Plus in Alamogordo by calling .
• The NFHS Learn exams are $45 each and there is a one-time $25 registration fee for NFHS. Copies of the certificates of completion should be uploaded with the Athletic License application.

NMPED requires all volunteer coaches to maintain an active Athletic license and clear/approved background checks and NM Ethical Misconduct Surveys (HB 128) before being eligible to participate as a volunteer.
