Optometrist – PT/FT – Private practice – Alamosa, CO – No Weekends!

Experienced ODs or new graduates are encouraged to apply!

We are a private primary care practice that values flexibility, innovation, and a patient-centered approach. Enjoy the freedom to set your own schedule, working 2–5 days per week in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Based on experience

Part-time, Full-time

• Full tech support and a diverse patient population, from infants to seniors.
• A manageable caseload of 15–20 patients per day in a friendly office equipped with an optical and finishing lab.
• State‑of‑the‑art technology, including Revolution EHR, Auto A/R, Harvest Acuity System, Maestro 2 OCT, and Virtual VF.
• An upgraded lane with cutting‑edge digital equipment in progress.

Opportunities abound for professionals with special interests in dry eye management
, scleral lens fitting
, low vision
, or vision therapy
.

• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
• Handle eye‑care emergencies

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree (or pending)
• Valid state license to practice optometry (or pending)
• A strong sense of workplace professionalism and personal ethics
• Customer‑service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills
