Position Summary /Job Duties
- Children: two daughters, ages 16 and 13 (public school). Older child has motor, learning, and language delays; acceptance of developmental disabilities is required.
- Shift: Monday‑Friday; some weekends (minimum two per month) starting Jan 2025.
- Hours:
6AM‑9AM, 3PM‑9PM; weekend days 6AM‑4PM. - Responsibilities: support homework, maintain organized/home environment, meal prep, laundry, dishes, grocery runs, assist with school closures.
- Vehicle provided for Greater Madison area; memberships to zoo, art museum, pools, state park system, gym, etc.
- Location:
walkable Shorewood Hills; 10 min to Madison, 1.5 h to Milwaukee, 2.5 h to Chicago.
- Minimum 1 year experience with elementary‑aged children or multiple siblings.
- Organizational skills; physically active; willing to learn to swim.
- Teaching, childcare, camp counseling, or special needs experience preferred.
- Spanish‑speaking household; live‑in option available.
- Prefer commitment of 1 year.
Guaranteed weekly pay for 30‑50 hours at $18‑$28/hr, commensurate with experience and responsibilities. Additional pay for extra hours; year‑end bonus for flexibility and dependability. Salary partially covered by Dane County CLTS.
