Community Engagement Student Assistant

• Support setup, execution, and cleanup of scientific staff events
• Help manage lab/classroom activities and assist with field trips
• Collaborate with community partners and contribute to professional development events
• Supervise the Summer Science Camp and other related activities

• Must be a student at UW-Madison
• Experience with science communication, public speaking, teaching, or research is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while prioritizing and meeting deadlines

• Relevant experience in community engagement or STEM education
• Previous involvement in organizing events or programs related to science
• Familiarity with public speaking or teaching methodologies
• Strong customer service skills
