- Collaborating with product owners and development teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience. This will involve creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, taxonomies, and site maps to improve the overall user experience.
- Rapidly iterating on design prototypes and working applications, taking them from concept to wireframe and handing the UI to the development team.
- Taking ownership of application and product UX/UI design, unifying them under a single style and design concept.
- Thinking strategically to frame and present design direction based on user needs, technical specifications, and opportunities for innovation.
- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Leading the development and maintenance of design systems, including the design language, principles, and patterns.
- Ensuring that the design systems are scalable, flexible, and easy to use.
- Collaborating with designers, developers, and product owners to implement the design systems consistently and effectively.
- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and incorporating user feedback.
- Understanding the differences between mobile platforms and implementing responsive and adaptive designs.
- Understanding how designs translate into coded interfaces and devices enables you to execute desirable and usable user interactions.
- Using qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to improve the user experience continually. Analyzing data and user feedback to make informed design decisions.
- Leveraging your understanding of the latest technology and devices to produce technically feasible and efficient interactive solutions.
- Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigation components, and informational components that align with our service-wide User Experience Strategy and utilize our UX Design System, ensuring coherence and continuity.
- Staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies and collaborating with developers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of designs.
- Keeping abreast of the most recent trends and innovations in the supply chain logistics industry.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or in a relevant field such as Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience in UI/UX Design:
You should have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in the IT industry specifically focused on UI/UX design. This experience should include a strong emphasis on wire framing tools, such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma. Demonstrating a track record of successfully designing user-centered interfaces and experiences is important. - Front-End Web Development:
You should possess at least 5 years of experience as a front-end web developer. Proficiency in front-end technologies such as Angular, CSS, and Typescript is crucial. - Proficiency with Design and Prototyping Tools:
You should be familiar with standard design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and XD), Miro, and - Track Record of Successful Customer-Facing Experiences:
Demonstrating a proven track record of designing successful customer-facing experiences is highly valued. - Expertise in Multiple Disciplines:
