Program Assistant: Textile Arts Center of Madison

• Serve as the on‑site greeter and provide support during workshops and public hours
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of workshops, including arranging tables and supplies
• Greet workshop participants and direct them to their locations
• Support teaching artists by addressing their questions and needs during workshops
• Assist with administrative tasks such as social media content creation and community outreach

• Must have reliable transportation to the on‑site location in Madison
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Office Suite, and other relevant software
• Ability to lift up to 20–40 pounds for setup and cleaning tasks

• Knowledge of and experience with fiber arts
• Previous experience in customer service or arts administration
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
• Interest in community engagement and outreach efforts
• Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
