Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Join Vie Med Healthcare Staffing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and make a meaningful impact in pediatric primary care within a Military Treatment Facility in Anchorage, Alaska. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive, outcome-based healthcare services to pediatric patients in a supportive and collaborative environment. In this role, you will manage routine, acute, and chronic pediatric conditions, promote preventive health measures, and work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise will help foster positive health behaviors and provide education to families, making a difference in the lives of children in the community.
Required Skills:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Minimum of 2 years of recent Nurse Practitioner experience, with pediatric experience strongly preferred
Current, unrestricted NP license in any U.S. state or territory
National certification (ANCC or AANP)
Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC
Ability to pass a government background check and obtain security clearance
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to diagnose, treat, and counsel pediatric patients effectively
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience working in military or federal healthcare settings
Additional certifications in pediatric care or trauma
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Master s degree in Nursing (MSN)
At least 2 years of pediatric NP experience within the last 3 years
Other Requirements:
Ability to pass a government background check
Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 9-hour shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
