Provide advanced care for patients with complex, long-term needs.

We’re seeking experienced LTAC Registered Nurses who excel in managing medically complex patients requiring extended hospital-level care. If you thrive in high-acuity environments and enjoy building continuity with patients over longer stays, this role offers meaningful, impactful work every shift.

Schedule

  • 7a or 7p | 12-Hour Shifts
  • Per Diem flexibility

What You’ll Do

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex, chronic, and high-acuity medical conditions
  • Perform detailed patient assessments and monitor clinical status throughout extended stays
  • Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, complex wounds, central lines, and IV therapies
  • Administer medications, titratable drips, and treatments per provider orders
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case management, and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Support patient progression toward stabilization, recovery, or transition to the next level of care
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, disease processes, and long-term care needs
  • Identify and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

What We’re Looking For

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent LTAC, ICU, Step-Down, or acute care hospital RN experience required
  • BLS required (ACLS preferred)
  • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and care-coordination skills
  • Experience caring for ventilator-dependent or medically complex patients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
