Food-Beverage-Retail Manager

Responsible for maintaining inventory in the store andCafé.Transporting inventory from town toDyea.

Enter items into inventory. Work the register and espresso machine. Keep the stores clean.

Gather food, gift shop inventory, and supplies needed to go out to Mercantile and Café. Take van 16 to head out to camp.

When transporting food products, they must be in a cooler witha sufficient number ofcold packs to ensure that they stay cold during transport

Food will be labeled in the refrigerator and gift shop inventory will be stacked in the warehouse with a note. If not stacked in kitchen, additional supplies may need tobe gathered as needed/requested

Take note of the cleanliness of the kitchen and address the culinary staff should something not be cleaned appropriately

Take visual inventory of high use items (toilet paper, paper towels, turkey, etc.) to be sure that nothing is close to running out

Be sure to check that items are stored appropriately (ex. that freezer items are in the freezer),and that stock is being rotated (First in,firstout method)

Be sure to lock kitchen doors when leaving

Will mainly work register and machines (espresso) in the café area

All work areas will be kept clean throughout the day

At end of shift at Mercantile/Café, take visual inventory of products making note of anything needing to be restocked for the next day

Clean the café area prior to departing for the day

Ordering of food and cleaning products needed for the café and touring operations

Order needs to be placed no later than Monday

Need to be sure that inventory minimums are always stocked

MUST NOTIFY UPPER MANAGEMENT (ERIN) IF INVENTORY IS LOW. ESPECIALLY THE TURKEY

After placing order,needto put a copy of the order in the kitchen so that culinary staff can verifyfullorder has been delivered

Certified or able to get certified in First Aid/CPR.Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Legally eligible to work in the US.21 years or older.

Valid driver’s license.
