RESPONSIBILITIES- Security – Routine patrol of premises for non guests. Reviewing security footage as necessary.
- Training – Training of new security team members.
- Scheduling – Scheduling of 24 hr shifts with team members.
- Leading – Directing new procedures or answering questions from the security team.
- Proficiency in the use of computer business applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory position related to the security industry preferred.
- Current valid driver’s license with three (3) years of clean driving record. (Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested).
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
- Ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff and guest requests/inquires.
- Ability to clearly communicate, verbally and in writing, with all levels of employees, management, and customers.
- Ability to work with all levels of management, employees and guests with sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including all company health and safety standards.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs/23kgs. Some heavy lifting in a team environment may be required.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for minimum of 8 hours per day.
