This is a unique opportunity to join a community‑focused power and telecommunications utility as an Outside Plant Technician in the heart of the incredibly beautiful natural landscape supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground infrastructure that connects homes, businesses, and essential services.

The ideal candidate will be a practical, service‑driven field technician who enjoys working outdoors and solving infrastructure challenges motivated by supporting essential services, maintaining high workmanship standards, and contributing to the reliability of power and communications networks within a small community.

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground plant, including poles, lines, fiber optic and copper cable, anchors, and related hardware.
• Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repairs across power, telecom, and fiber networks to restore service efficiently and safely.
• Carry out cable bonding, grounding, splicing, and terminations in compliance with safety standards and utility specifications.
• Support infrastructure interfaces with power plants, substations, and communication facilities, maintaining accurate records and as‑built documentation.

• Experience as an Outside Plant Technician, Lineman, or Utility Field Technician in telecom, power, or broadband environments.
• Strong understanding of OSP construction standards, safety practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in challenging weather conditions.
• Safety‑focused, dependable, and a collaborative team player with good communication skills.
