Pipefitter - Per Diem

Trillium Construction is urgently seeking experienced Industrial Pipe fitters for a shutdown project at an MSHA-regulated mine in Alaska, running October 27 through November 5th, 2026.

Pipe fitters will be responsible for fitting and preparing piping systems for installation and welding. Work will take place in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments at an active mine site.

The schedule consists of 11.5-hour shifts, either 6:00 AM-5:30 PM or 6:00 PM-5:30 AM, depending on the assigned shift. Candidates must be prepared to work extended shifts throughout the duration of the assignment.

Pay for the position is $48-$50 depending on experience. Pay includes $65 per day in per diem, with all meals provided. Flights from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Alaska and back, along with hotel accommodations during travel, are covered by the client. Once on site, candidates will be provided lodging in a man camp at the mine for the duration of the assignment.

Candidates should plan to meet in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, October 27, for departure to Alaska.

• -Candidates must have 3-5 years of industrial pipe fitting experience and be comfortable working in a demanding industrial environment.
• -Candidates must have current MSHA Part 46 training documentation (Form 5000-23) and meet the required respirator fit-testing requirements. Drug and alcohol screening is required.
• -Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools and wear required PPE, including steel-toed muck boots, blue lockout/tagout (LOTO) locks, a safety harness, and other standard industrial PPE. Respirators will be provided once the required fit-test documentation is verified.
• -All candidates must successfully complete the required pre-employment and site screenings.
