Warehouse Loader; Part Time

Reporting to the Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager, the role assists with warehouse activities including loading, repacking, inventory, and maintenance. It is a labour-intensive position that loads bulk and route trucks, with attention to loading outgoing and unloading incoming trucks. The role builds loads from order sheets using a forklift and electronic pallet jack, ensures accuracy in loading and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation, and follows warehouse instructions while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Work may take place across several weather conditions and involves repeated lifting of high volumes of cases.

• Assist in warehouse activities including loading, repacking, inventory, and maintenance.
• Load bulk and route trucks, with attention to loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks.
• Work from order sheets to build loads using a forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Ensure accuracy in loading, comply with shipper/receiver documentation, and follow warehouse instructions when building loads.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Load trucks by selecting designated packages and flavours of products from the warehouse and loading them into the bays of a route truck.
• Ensure product is rotated on trucks and in the warehouse following expiration dates.
• Clean and repackage product as set forth by RBDC standards.
• Dispose of damaged or Out of Code (OOC) product once approved by the Operations Manager.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness by disposing of trash nightly, sweeping floors daily, and using a floor scrubber periodically.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
• Ability to lift a very high volume of cases of product per day from 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly during a long work period.
• English language proficiency.

• Forklift operations.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
