• Works with the service manager, customer, and technician to identify required maintenance.
• Manage billing and invoice productivity.
• Works alongside the service manager to provide the customer with clarity on the concern and the necessary next steps to correct it.
• Offers additional services and repairs to customers as detailed on the technician's multi‑point inspection findings (if required).
• Computes cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to condition specified by customer.
• Estimates cost of mechanical, electrical, or other repairs.
• Enters itemized estimate on service order and explains estimate to customer.
• Schedules appointments with customer.
• Maintains facility standards for repair and order production.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Complies with Company policies and procedures.
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Managing service lane reception, flow of work dispatched and technician proficiency.

Education or

Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED not required but preferred.
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• At least 2 years of automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem‑solving, and repair experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

• ASE certifications preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
• Safety conscious at all times.
• Must be able to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced environment.
• Teachable, hardworking, and possess general mechanical aptitude.
• Must have strong time management skills, as well as close attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable with self‑initiative.
• Ability to complete all tasks assigned properly, with little to no follow‑up.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
• Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer and/or smart phone skills.
