The Electrical Construction Project Management Trainee will learn branch operations through practical assignments. Trainees gain field experience while learning Metro Power’s mission, vision, culture and values. Upon successful completion, the trainee is permanently assigned to an office in Florida, Georgia or Alabama.

• Behave consistently with Metro Power’s Mission and Vision and focus on safety, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Gain knowledge of all aspects of branch management operations, including worksite safety, waste elimination, estimating, bidding, leadership, sales, material handling, order processing, and customer service.
• Maintain reliable and regular attendance.

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Quick learning, positive attitude, willingness to assume various training and supervisory opportunities.
• Team‑based work mindset and immediate contribution.
• Valid state driver’s license for permanent assignment state with a clean driving record.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Related construction experience may substitute for college education.
• Integrity – Non‑negotiable.
• Desire to learn and be a strong team member.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office and the web.
• Willingness to travel when necessary and work in outdoor environments.
• Strong desire to be part of a dynamic, Servant Leadership‑based company.

• Maintain a consistent workload involving moderate manual labor.
• Carry or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bend, stoop, squat, sit and maneuver in confined spaces.
• Wear respirators in environments that contain silica dust and other hazardous materials.
• Maintain workloads that may include interstate and intrastate travel and daily time frames exceeding typical business hours.
