The Sales Support Specialist supports the Bank's Small Business Administration (SBA) Express Program through the execution of daily sales activities and application processing. This role serves as a key point of contact for bankers throughout the loan application process, helping ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience. The Sales Support Specialist reviews and analyzes SBA Express loan applications to determine SBA eligibility, verifies adherence to established policies and procedures, and coordinates the timely processing of loan documentation from application through commitment.

• Serve as a primary resource for bankers by providing guidance and support throughout the application process.
• Review loan applications and supporting documentation to determine eligibility.
• Verify receipt of complete loan packages and confirm all required documentation has been provided.
• Review applications to ensure minimum Experian Blended Score requirements are met.
• Process loan applications and due diligence documentation accurately and within established service standards.
• Ensure loan requests comply with SBA SOP, bank policies, and program guidelines.
• Communicate proactively with bankers regarding application status, missing information, and next steps.
• Maintain accurate records and update applicable banking systems throughout the loan origination process.
• Collaborate with internal partners to facilitate efficient loan processing and an exceptional customer experience.
• Identify and elevate issues that may impact eligibility, approval, or processing timelines.

Minimum Required

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 4 years' experience in Sales, or Customer Service, or Operations

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while managing multiple priorities
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with BOSS, Spark, and other applicable banking platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service and operational excellence.
