The Dougherty County Police Department is hiring on a continuous basis for a Clerk Dispatcher. The purpose of this position is to support to officers and supervisors in the field by continuously monitoring radio/dispatched calls and continuously relaying information.
This class works under close to general supervision according to set procedures but determines how or when to complete tasks. Rotating 12 hour shift work is required, including nights, weekends and holidays.
