The
** Revenue Cycle Data & Systems Specialist
**** Key Responsibilities
*** Maintain
** fee schedules
** in the PMS to ensure accurate charge capture and compliance with payer contracts. Build and maintain
** insurance plans
** including plan configurations, fee schedule alignments, and benefit setups.
* Serve as a subject matter expert for revenue cycle systems, including practice management, clearinghouse, and contracting platforms.
* Partner with RCM leadership and cross-functional teams to support process automation, data validation, and technology optimization initiatives.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot data or interface issues between platforms (e.g., PMS, EHR, clearinghouse, x-ray platforms and analytics tools).
* Support implementation and integration projects for new technologies or system enhancements.
* Collaborate with IT, finance, and operations to align data definitions, ensure consistent reporting, and maintain system security.
* Provide user training and documentation to improve system adoption and accuracy across the revenue cycle team.
* Identify opportunities for
**** process improvement
**** and assist with system testing, training, and documentation as needed.
** Qualifications
* ** Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3–5 years of experience in healthcare or dental revenue cycle analytics, systems management, or data reporting.
* Strong proficiency in Excel and familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
* Understanding of RCM metrics such as AR days, denial rates, collections, and net revenue performance.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to communicate analytical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
