Responsible for directing and administering the operational sales and service efforts of the service center. Models the Five Star Core Values and Service Standards for teammates and members.
Essentials Functions and Basic Duties- Ensures members are served promptly and professionally.
- Adheres to Five Star Branch & Brand standards.
- Oversees delivery of full range of services.
- Assists in member service functions.
- Handles member complaints.
- Provides growth leadership and coaching.
- Conducts regular performance reviews.
- Leads team meetings to share goals and objectives.
- Notifies Market Director of obstacles to growth.
- Participates in business account growth with Business Solutions Specialist.
- Increases branch deposit market share.
- Supervises service center team and ensures quality and efficiency.
- Identifies training needs and coordinates with Training Coordinator.
- Conducts training workshops as needed.
- Creates a cohesive team and encourages self‑development.
- Attends training sessions and stays current on procedures.
- Documents disciplinary actions and recommends promotions.
- Works with community leaders and schools to support community education.
- Models Core Values and Service Standards.
- Informs Market Director of branch activities and progress.
Education/Certification:
High school graduate or equivalent. Additional college coursework in business or finance preferred. Valid driver’s license.
Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge of Credit Union products and services, branch functions, policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and fundamentals of the financial industry.
Experience:
Five or more years in a financial institution, with at least two years supervisory experience in a sales and service environment.
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication, strong interpersonal and leadership skills, ability to multi‑task, and proficiency with computer applications.
Contact requires frequent verbal communication, basic math and reading skills, and the ability to perform tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
