Job SummaryLead the manufacturing site in Albany, GA in the implementation and execution of World Class Supply Chain processes, focusing on cultural transformation, meeting annual operating measures, and driving phase‑progression goals. Act as an internal consultant influencing all levels of the organization through strategic planning, capability building, and effective communication.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of 1–2 direct reports and support their career growth with regular one‑on‑one discussions.
- Drive WCSC loss elimination and business performance, preparing for the next phase over 6–18 months.
- Own the site’s change‑management strategy, build expertise in WCSC pillars, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Connect leaders and teams to streamline communication and decision‑making, ensuring rapid, effective responses to change.
- Partner with site leadership to set priorities, lead the annual planning cycle, and create a master plan focused on zero‑loss goals.
- Oversee contingency planning and waste‑reduction initiatives, delivering robust operational‑excellence strategies.
- Act as the process gatekeeper across departments, promoting consistency while supporting the transition to Best‑Value Practices (BVP).
- Promote WCSC principles, provide advanced technical expertise in key pillars, and mentor teams to achieve execution excellence.
- Block accessibility through competence and positivity, fostering a team culture that celebrates differences and drives alignment.
- 10+ years of experience leading manufacturing operations, engineering, or a World‑Class Supply Chain environment.
- Experience partnering effectively with stakeholders, driving alignment and results.
- Ability to simplify complex technical issues for diverse audiences and ensure clear understanding.
- Role‑modeling leadership, mentoring teams, and providing training to strengthen WCSC skills and leadership capabilities.
- Deep mastery of WCSC pillars to assess gaps, coach teams, and connect with corporate resources.
