Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Thermoforming Press Operator to join our team at an advanced production facility. This position involves operating and maintaining thermoforming machines to manufacture high-quality parts for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor thermoforming press machines to ensure precise production of automotive parts.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot thermoforming equipment for optimal performance and quality.
- Inspect and measure formed parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on thermoforming machinery to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure that all documentation, including work orders and production logs, is accurately completed.
- Troubleshoot any machine malfunctions or issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Proven experience as a Press Operator, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of thermoforming machinery and materials, such as plastics and composites.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, as it will help facilitate communication in a diverse work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus.
