At Toyo Tires, we’re looking for a hands-on leader who thrives on solving tough problems and developing others. As the Maintenance Team Lead, Mechatronics & Controls, you’ll guide a high-performing maintenance group in a state-of-the-art automated facility—keeping equipment reliable, production on target, and teammates growing.
The Challenge You’ll Own Lead and Develop:
Coach technicians and team leaders, run effective daily meetings, deliver targeted training, evaluate performance, and partner with HR to recruit, onboard, and advance maintenance talent. Address concerns quickly and professionally.
Run the Work:
Build schedules for people, equipment, and materials. Estimate manpower, align resources, and coordinate maintenance with production to hit output and reliability goals. Troubleshoot with urgency to reduce downtime and strengthen performance.
Champion Safety & Quality:
Turn EHS, 5S, ISO quality, and production goals into daily practice. Enforce policies, model accountability, and propel continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
Collaborate to Win:
Communicate clearly with peers, production leadership, vendors, suppliers, and technical experts to resolve equipment and operational issues fast.
What You Bring Education & Experience Meet one of these profiles:
Associate Degree from an accredited technical school or two-year college; orAt least two (2) years leading in industrial maintenance and training and at least five (5) years of multi-craft industrial maintenance experience; orAn equivalent mix of education and experience.
Technical Mastery Allen-Bradley PLCs (SLC 500 and PLC-5)
Mitsubishi PLCsABB S3 and S4 RoboticsAC and DC Servo Drives Inverter and DC Drive Systems Highly automated manufacturing equipment and robotics
Industrial troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Preventive and corrective maintenance systems
Leadership Essentials Team leadership and employee development
Scheduling and manpower planning
Performance management and coaching
Conflict resolution and team building
Continuous improvement and problem-solving
And Additionally Strong written and verbal communication
Robust math and analytical skills
Excellent organization and planning
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
