Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a current NY RN license and proficiency with Epic EMR.
Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting

• Shift is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• 13-week contract assignment

• No blocked scheduling allowed

• Use of Epic EMR is required

• Medical documentation from a licensed professional is required for flu vaccine exemptions; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted

• More than three call outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make up shifts required within six weeks of the last call out

• RTO (requested time off) must be submitted at the time of application

• Travel pairs are not allowed for this position

• Local candidates are not eligible if they reside in specified counties within a 50-mile radius
Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience required

• Current AHA or RQI certifications required

• Epic EMR experience is mandatory

• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

• US Social Security Number required
