Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with EPIC experience and a current NY license.
Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting

• Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

• Must work the assigned 13-week contract

• EPIC EMR system is used and prior experience is required

• Blocked scheduling is not offered

• Candidates must not reside within the following NY counties:
Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington

• No local candidates are allowed based on facility rules

• More than 3 call outs in a 13-week period may lead to contract termination; make-up shifts are required within 6 weeks

• Time off (RTO) must be requested with submission

• Competency testing may be required for consideration

• Travel pairs are not permitted
Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration

• Minimum of 2 years recent OR RN experience required

• Certifications must be from AHA or RQI

• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory for all candidates

• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

• Flu vaccination required unless a medical exemption is provided by a licensed professional

• US Social Security Number is required for consideration;
Canadian SINs are not accepted
