Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Stepdown/IMCU position requiring 2+ years of acute care experience and proficiency in critical drip and ventilator management.

• Active RN license (GA state or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BSN not required
• Proficiency in medication management required

• IMCU stepdown unit serving as a bridge between PCU and ICU in an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes vented patients and those on critical drips
• Patient ratio of 3:1
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a
• 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Uses MEDITECH EMR
• Provide care for critically ill stepdown patients including ventilator and medication management
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for placement
• Not eligible for placement if previously employed by the facility within the last 12 months
