Food Quality Conformance Coordinator

Job Description

As Food Quality Conformance Coordinator at Mars, you will collaborate with the operators in the value stream on root cause analysis and escalates to support departments or areas as required, use existing procedures to solve standard problems, analyze information and standard practices to make judgements and recommendations.

This will be a day shift role.

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field will be preferred
• 5+ years of demonstrated success in manufacturing/ quality experience
• Knowledge of food safety regulations including local, state and federal guidelines
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and sanitation knowledge in food processing
• Advanced computer skills

• Key interface between R&D related activities and the value stream, including communication of value stream initiatives to site R&D community
• Accountability for managing an effective corrective/preventive plan, including verification of effective implementation
• Quality lead in value stream routine management meetings and quality reviews
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver best in class GMP and Sanitation practices
• Continual process confirmation of the GMP and Sanitation programs
• Support Kleanz use and management
• Support Continuous Improvement of the Quality, GMP and Sanitation programs
• Coverage for shift rotational QCCs and Sample Processors
• Support cross-functional team with internal, technical, LRQA, Pest and other audits
• Support site 5S program
• Member of the AM and FMOS Pillars
