As a Security Officer – Hospital Patrol in Albany, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your visible presence and professional demeanor will support a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to clients, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and granting entry as appropriate.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies when necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
• Communicate professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and first responders as needed during routine duties and emergency situations.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
