Job Summary:
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, Level 2, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional HVAC installation and services to our commercial clients. You will have the opportunity to work with many challenging types of HVAC systems and collaborate with some of the industry’s best technicians. Your responsibilities include professional installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cabling and components related to commercial HVAC systems.
You may also serve as a site superintendent for preventive maintenance contracts and installation projects when necessary. All technicians are expected to assist in other roles within their abilities from time to time. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional seeking to advance their career within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of HVAC technicians to install and service systems safely, efficiently, and effectively according to job requirements, industry standards, and building codes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during work.
- Ensure excellent job productivity by accurately and promptly communicating task hazards, status, and completions.
- Provide training and guidance to other technicians to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
- Positive safety attitude and high personal integrity.
- Strong commitment to workmanship, customer service, and satisfaction.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High understanding of control components and installation practices, including thermostats, control sensors, panels, transformers, relays, etc.
- Experience in cabling and conduit installation.
- Ability to read mechanical and control drawings.
- 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls industry.
- At least 3 years of experience performing startup procedures for common controllers and sequences.
- Good understanding of HVAC sequences and operation.
- EPA License required.
