Description
Job Summary:
As a Commercial HVAC Service Technician, Level 2, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional HVAC installation and services to our commercial clients. You will have the opportunity to work with many challenging types of HVAC systems and work with some of the best technicians in the industry. You will be responsible for the professional installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the cabling and components pertaining to commercial HVAC systems.
You will also be expected to perform as site superintendent for preventive maintenance contracts and/or installation projects when necessary. All technicians are expected to assist in other roles within their abilities from time to time. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who is looking to advance their career and be part of a dynamic team.
Responsibilities
Work with a team of HVAC technicians to install and service systems safely, efficiently, and effectively per job requirements, industry standards, and building codes.Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while working.Help ensure excellent job productivity by relaying task hazards, status, and completions accurately and timely.Train and provide guidance to other technicians to advance their knowledge and skills.Qualifications
Possesses a positive safety attitude and high level of personal integrity.Places a high value on workmanship, customer service, and satisfaction.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.Must have a high level of understanding of control components and installation practices for items such as thermostats, control sensors, control panels, digital controllers, transformers, relays, etc.Must have experience in cabling and running conduit.Must have experience and knowledge of how to read mechanical drawings and control drawings.Must have at least 3-5 years of experience in HVAC controls industry.Must have at least 3 years of experience performing startup for common controllers and sequences.Must have a good understanding of HVAC sequences and operation.EPA License is required.Metro Power is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority/Disabled/Veterans/Females are encouraged to apply.
