We're partnering with a leading electrical contractor and conducting a search for a Senior Accountant. If you have construction accounting experience and want to join a strong, growth-oriented company, this could be a great opportunity.
Title:
Senior Accountant
Location:
Albany, NY (office-based)
Manage job cost accounting, WIP schedules, and project billing
Support monthly close, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
Work closely with Project Managers on project financials and forecasting
Handle subcontractor compliance, including lien waivers and insurance tracking
Assist with CPA firm audits and year-end financial preparation
Must-HaveQualifications:
- 4+ years of accounting experience in the construction industry (electrical contractor experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of job cost, percentage-of-completion accounting, and project billing
- Proficiency with construction accounting software (such as Viewpoint, Foundation, Sage 300, or similar)
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
