This National Guard position is for a AUDITOR, Position Description Number T5147 P01 and is part of the UNITED STATES PROPERTY AND FISCAL OFFICE, National Guard.

As an AUDITOR (GS-0511-11), you will serves as an agent of the United States Property and Fiscal Officer on accounting, financial, and managerial issues that require examination by a financial professional. Performs quick response reviews, consulting and advisory services, risk management, liaison with external audit organizations, audit compliance and follow-up, and a variety of staff and systems accounting duties to analyze accounting records and to enhance the financial reports and operational data used by local management.

Position is located in the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO). Incumbent reports to the Internal Review Division Chief, but may receive guidance and directions from a higher graded IR Supervisor or IR Accountant Auditor if assigned.

• Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
• For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver’s license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
• For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within one year of appointment.
