About the Role:

As a project manager in the Account Management and Client Strategy practice area, you will collaborate with team members to help manage, coordinate, and execute account management and service delivery business development activities and responsibilities. You will collaborate with other practices and departments within NYSTEC to execute this work.

Serving as a project manager, your day-to-day role as a NYSTEC consultant will include making recommendations to improve account management or business development processes, including through automation, drafting corporate communications and memos, and prioritizing and planning for those recommendations to be included in project plans once approved.

You should have experience building dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to show progress, track and identify risks, and measure outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and managing individual project plans for improving account management processes.
  • Coordinating and facilitating meetings and capturing meeting materials.
  • Conducting market research and analyses to implement best practices for account management and business development.
  • Tracking and organizing progress and KPIs.
  • Building dashboards and KPIs to show progress, track and identify risks, and measure outcomes.
About you:

Required Qualifications
  • Strong writing, documentation, communication, and analytical skills to meet project goals.
  • Experience as a project coordinator or project manager.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and to understand their needs through excellent listening and effective written and verbal communication.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications
  • Data and business analyst skills, including data visualization using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Process improvement and project management professional certification.
Education and Experience
  • A bachelor’s degree and five years of related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.
