Based in the Albany area, we are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from residential builds to large‑scale commercial developments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating and scheduling, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high‑quality work.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and present cost reports and budget forecasts to management.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure estimates are accurate and comprehensive.
• Use advanced computer software to prepare estimates and schedules.
• Participate in bid and proposal meetings, providing detailed explanations of cost estimates.
• Continually monitor industry trends and pricing to keep company's estimating database up‑to‑date and accurate.
• Collaborate with project teams to follow‑up on discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating and scheduling.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Proficient in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Proven track record of preparing accurate estimates and schedules.
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar certification is a plus.
• A team player with a commitment to delivering high‑quality work on time and within budget.
