Role Description

Arcadis DPS Group is seeking a Sr Construction Project Manager to work with one of our world-class advanced technology clients in Albany, NY and Santa Clara, CA. The Sr Project Manager will support the Client Project Manager and oversee the successful completion of advanced technology facilities construction projects while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred candidates have a proven history of working with manufacturing and construction personnel on industrial construction projects within the microelectronics industry.

This position is for local candidates or those willing to relocate to the area and is not a travel position. It is an onsite role that requires full-time work at the client site and compliance with PPE requirements.

Accountabilities
  • Manage assigned projects to agreed scope, cost, schedule, and quality, delivering within budgeted man‑hours and margin targets.
  • Create and execute project work plans, revising as necessary to meet client or project needs.
  • Produce accurate and consistent project reports in line with client and operations requirements.
  • Ensure all activities comply fully with Client Standard Operating Procedures and policies.
  • Resolve project issues promptly; elevate urgent issues as required.
  • Review and approve project deliverables with team members to meet quality standards.
  • Liaise with operation disciplines to determine project resource loading and monitor team performance, preparing resource plans timely.
  • Keep project stakeholders informed of deliverables, status, and key focus areas; hold regular status meetings.
  • Communicate relevant project information effectively to Management.
  • Issue project field bulletins or whiteboards promptly and follow through to completion.
  • Build strong client relationships to establish long‑term business links and develop proactive working relationships.
  • Support business development activities, participate in client presentations, and generate commercial proposals in response to RFQs.
  • Support key organizational initiatives, including Core Values, Codes of Practice, and CPD.
  • Contribute actively to lessons‑learned processes and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 8+ years supporting semiconductor facilities construction with proven construction project management responsibilities. Experience as a GC or Client Representative preferred.
  • Computer‑proficient; MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and standard construction/project management software.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills; self‑starter who works autonomously.
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business preferred; relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education.
  • Legal US work authorization documents required.
