Dental Hygienist (Pediatric Experience Preferred)

Join our warm, kid‑friendly practice at Pediatric Dentistry of Albany in Albany, NY. We are looking for a compassionate skilled, and energetic Dental Hygienist to provide high‑quality care for children and families.

• Hourly Rate: $55–$65 per hour (commensurate with experience)

• Full‑time (5 days per week) or 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday)
• Hours:
  
  9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (some flexibility available)
• Occasional travel to other offices (within a reasonable distance) may be requested

• Perform routine cleanings, fluoride treatments, and apply sealants
• Conduct oral health assessments and screenings
• Educate children and families on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Accurately record patient medical and dental histories
• Maintain a clean, safe, and kid‑friendly clinical environment
• Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff
• Provide occasional front desk support as needed

• Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene (Required)
• Valid NYS Dental Hygienist License (Required)
• Pediatric dental experience preferred
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Excellent communication and patient rapport skills
• Team‑oriented with a cheerful, professional attitude
