The cardiology department operates across three locations in Albany and Troy, offering patients access to advanced cardiac care in a community-based setting with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services
• Choose from multiple flexible scheduling options: weekend rounding only, traditional hospital/clinic schedule, or hospital-only shift-based role
• Deliver outpatient care including walk-in clinics 2-3 times monthly (for traditional hospital/clinic role)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiology teams across three facilities
• Participate in 1:5 weekend call rotation with primarily telephone coverage and occasional in-person requirements
• Manage approximately 20-25 patients per 8-hour clinic day
• Participate in hospital rounds on a team responsible for 50-60 patients daily
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation
• Must maintain Board Certification in Internal Medicine (or obtain within 2 years of hire)
• Must complete Cardiology Fellowship prior to start
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA certifications
• Obtain New York medical license if not already licensed• $75,000 starting bonus, $25,000 retention bonus, and $25,000 relocation bonus (if relocating from outside Capital Region)
• Guaranteed base salary of $600,000 per year
