Locum to Perm - Physician - Maternal Fetal Medicine

Overview

Practice Setting: This is an office where doctors take turns being on call at the hospital.

Dates of Coverage: Start date:
Before November 14.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Call Ratio: One doctor is on call for every three doctors.

Average Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: The number of patients varies each day, usually between 10 to 15, depending on the type of visit and call volume.

• Onsite Lab: Yes, there is a lab in the office.
• Onsite Ultrasound: Yes, there is also ultrasound equipment available.

Nursery Level: Level III (meaning it can take care of more complex cases).

Documentation System: They use Epic software for patient records.

• Board Status: Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (which means you are qualified but not officially certified yet).
• Special Training: Must have completed special training in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
• License: Must have an active license to practice in New York State.
• Certifications: Must have BLS and ACLS certifications (these are training for basic and advanced life support).
• DEA Registration: Must have DEA registration (needed for prescribing medications).
