Anesthesiology Physician

Join a reputable private practice in Albany, New York, where you will provide high-quality anesthesia care within a well-established facility. This practice, part of a large anesthesia group in the region, has been delivering compassionate care for over forty years. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a team of new cardiac surgeons in a high-volume inpatient heart center.

• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG and valve replacements.
• Participate in pre-operative evaluations and post-operative care of cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of anesthesia protocols.
• Cover cases er's Hospital and Samaritan Hospital campuses.
• Adhere to a variable schedule with potential shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours.
• Engage with a patient demographic primarily consisting of adults and geriatrics.
• Average 6-8 cardiac cases per day.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesia.
• ECHO Board Certification and/or completed a Cardiac Fellowship.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to compassionate patient care.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Open to H-1B visa candidates.

• New York Medical License (or willing to obtain).
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
