We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Physician-Hospitalists to join our dynamic team. We currently have days/evening openings ers Hospital in Albany, NY. Our hospitalists play a vital role in ensuring excellent outcomes for our hospitalized patients.
St. Peters Hospital, Hospitalist Program Details:- 400 Bed Community Hospital
- Closed ICU w/ 24/7 Intensivist Support
- ADC
- Rounders average 15 patients on 10 hour shift - Rounding Day Team staffing model- 20 providers
- Large employed group of physicians offering in-house subspecialist support
- Current openings:
Days/Evenings- primarily days with flexing to evenings (4 - 10 hour shifts per pay period)
- Provide comprehensive medical care to hospitalized patients, including admission, daily rounds, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions to stabilize patients.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the electronic medical record.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Valid medical license in the state of New York.
- Prior experience as a Hospitalist preferred but not required.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- A comprehensive salary and compensation package that includes:
- Base Salary Range: $251,680- $266,240
- Competitive base salary with RVU incentives
- Starting Bonus available

- CME time & expense allowance- $4,500 per year
