Pediatric - Nephrology Physician

  • Perm - full-time faculty position as an Academic Nephrologist in the Department of Pediatrics
  • Clinic + Hospital practice with shared call
  • Call is mostly phone and done 1 week at a time on rotation (7 x 24hr shifts) calls range 0-3 weekdays, 04 patients on weekends
  • Large experienced team of specialized and dedicated nurses, dieticians, and social workers
  • You would be the third Pediatric Nephrologist in the division
  • Larger Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Center
  • 60 - bed NICU, 19 bed PICU, new Peds ER
  • Full Pediatric specialty support services in place
  • Typical volumes is 20 patients
  • Dialysis unit in the hospital
  • True Board Eligible or Board Certified with Pediatric Nephrology Fellowship training required
  • Active NY License & DEA
