Student Employee, Organic Chemistry Workshop Leader
Provide in person organic chemistry workshop leadership (tutoring/mentoring) fall and spring semesters for 4-6 hours per week beginning week 2, and continuing through the last week of the semester.
Examples of
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with students one on one and in small groups to support them during organic chemistry workshop problem-solving sessions.

Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
- Current MCC Student
- Successful completion of a year-long organic chemistry course sequence (minimum grade of
C) from a regionally accredited higher education institution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Tutoring and/or mentoring experience with community college students
- Higher-order thinking skills developed in an organic chemistry course such as reasoning by analogy, synthesis, or data analysis
Additional Information:
Pay Rate: $15.50/hour
Hours per week: 4-6 hours/week
