Location: City of Albany
The New York State Education Department's Office of Education Policy seeks an Associate in Education Research to support the NY Inspires initiative, a statewide P-20 educational transformation program. The role involves coordinating implementation, providing project management and technical assistance to schools and agencies, developing resources and guidance documents, facilitating stakeholder engagement, and monitoring project outcomes. Based in Albany, the position is full-time, permanent, and allows up to 30% telecommuting with 10% travel requirement.
Keyqualifications:
- Master's degree and four years of professional research experience, with at least two years focused on educational research issues
- Strong project management and coordination skills across multiple offices and stakeholder groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities for preparing reports, presentations, and guidance materials
- Experience facilitating meetings, work groups, and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to track progress, identify risks, and support implementation of complex initiatives
