Position OverviewAs a Wind Site Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of wind turbines, directly addressing maintenance, troubleshooting, and system issues. Your contributions are vital in maintaining clean, reliable energy for local communities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair wind turbines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and conduct safety inspections.
- Collaborate with the team to improve turbine performance and share best practices.
- Document work and continuously improve operational processes.
- Timely code all work activities to support clear tracking of task duration and operational efficiency.
- At least 6 months wind technician certificate, or 1 year wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
- Highly developed problem-solving abilities and an engaged approach to responsibilities.
- Safety-conscious and committed to best practices.
- Team player who enjoys collaborative environments.
- Physically fit, comfortable working in various conditions, and able to work at heights.
- English proficiency for speaking, reading, and following instructions.
- High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Physical Demands- Stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Use telephones, close range radios, or related devices.
- Visual acuity and color discrimination.
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl as needed; hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Climb stairs and vertical ladders to heights of 60-100 meters and supervise confined space environments.
- Lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs.
- Train and obtain required safety programs and certifications.
- Participate in all training courses, including controlled descent practical exercises.
- Required PPE and gear weight not exceeding 300 lbs; PPE up to 40 lbs.
