Wendel is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our growing team. This position is open in our Williamsville, NY, and Albany, NY offices.
Responsibilities- Provide engineering design for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) for new and existing building projects in various markets.
- Analyze, design, and document HVAC systems including air-side and hydronic systems for a wide variety of project types.
- Perform mechanical engineering calculations that support the project design.
- Interact with teammates, clients, contractors, and manufacturer representatives during design and construction.
- Collaborate with other design disciplines to develop creative and integrated design solutions for our clients.
- Engage with other mechanical team members to manage multiple projects and tasks as part of a cohesive team.
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Technology in Engineering.
- Up to 5 years of experience.
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Experience in related field a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technical writing experience is preferred.

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000
Wendel is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidate’s relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The salary offered will also take into consideration regional adjustment factors.
